This week I animated the boat sailing and camera movement according to the storyboard I planned in Unreal Engine Sequencer.
After completing the statues, I placed the two statues in their planned locations in the main scene and made a series of adjustments to the location and size of the statues to make them blend more naturally into the scene.
This week I used 3D scanning to create two giant stone statues for the scene. I also made materials for the stone statues and made certain adjustments to the colors of the scanned stone statues to make them more consistent with the overall tone of the scene. After that, I put the stone statue into the scene for further testing and adjustments.
Then I put the two statues into Unreal Engine 5
During this week I found some temples and palaces in the Kitbash3D to Unreal Engine model library that fit the whole environment of my scene. And I place those models into the mountaintop of my landscape in Unreal Engine.
Then I put those models into Unreal Engine Scene and add some fog and mist around the palace
This week I added the boat model I made previously to the main scene. At the same time, I made certain adjustments to the terrain of the main scene and the vegetation of the scene. At the same time, I improved the small village so that there is smoke rising above the small village.
In my project, I plan to build a waterfall on the left side of the gorge. At the bottom of the waterfall, I will create some water vapor to enhance the realism and naturalness.
I used the river plug-in of Unreal Engine and the water material to create an ideal waterfall effect.
After that, I used Unreal Engine’s particle plug-in to create some water mist at the bottom of the waterfall.
This week I selected the location of the port in the landscape and the location of the main scene in the landscape map.
This location will be the location of my main scene. The village and dock are planned to be built at the foot of the mountain. There is a giant statue standing on both sides of the gorge. Next to one of the statues, there is a mountain waterfall slowly flowing down. On both sides of the river, There are some courtyards and lofts on the top.
After that, I integrated the previously prepared dock and village models. At the same time, I downloaded some models from the model library to enhance the details of the dock. I imported all the prepared models into Unreal Engine to complete the construction of the village and dock.

This week, I finished creating the model of the project’s boat in Maya, as well as adding materials and textures to it in 3D Substance Painter

Then I put the boat model into Unreal Engine 5 to test the texture and create the materials, I also made some changes to the texture to make the boat fit better in the scene.
